Looks like the only change needed is to give full controle to system, anyway, DV transfer and control are working again. Soon after the change the listed devices changed from " IEC 61883 Device" to " AVC Tape Recorder/Player". Thanks " Regmon" and after a few hours, I discover this key while I was trying to build the filter with Graphedit:Ĭhange the key permission giving the administrators and system groups full control. Using " Regmon" and after a few hours, I discover this key while I was trying to build the filter with Graphedit:Ĭhecking this key permission, the owner of this key is a service named TrustedInstaller, it has a group icon but there isn't any "TrustedInstaller" group or user. Still no device are detected by any capture software like Virtualdub and even this scenalyzer. Change the IEEE1394 driver to Legacy, over "Devices" Instead of " Unknown Device" it changed to " IEC 61883 Device". Like before, there was permission errors with the "Microsoft DV Camera and VCR" DS Filter, without it, no capture device can be used or listed like the default "AVC Tape Recorder/Player" for DV capture.
I've formated my workstation to make sure that there is no software or codec that broke any DirectShow filter, got the last Windows 10 from Microsoft - 1803 17134.48. I took a time off to take a look at this issue, I know the issue is not the PCI board because it's working and I've use it to do hundreds of thousands captures/dv transfer over the past 13 years with it. I updated Windows 10 only after the Microsoft tool showed me that my PC is ready and suited for Windows 10 upgrade. My whole business depends on Skype calls and this is a big blow to me right now. Also tried add legacy hardware, still not fixed.
Today when I was on skype, the cam crashed and it wouldn't work then on. I've been using the system for about a month and a half now without any issues with my Quantas integrated webcam. I own a Dell XPS 15 L502x system with Windows 10.
